Class Description
This class operates on a month by month basis. Consisting of a two hour class once per week, four times per month. If you are curious and want to try it out for just one month, that is perfectly fine! Maybe you are just getting started in your life-long love of clay, and will be a continuing student. Either way, we welcome you to join us as we get our hands dirty and create something new!

While in class, the students will receive one-on-one instruction to help them learn the delicate nuances of throwing and trimming clay on the wheel, as well as the more relaxed techniques of handbuilding. The studio will provide the clay and necessary tools to achieve this goal. The student should bring a towel and/or apron to work with as this can be a messy class.

Once the pieces are ready and have been bisque fired, the students will learn about the different glazes and how to get the most success from the glaze application process.
There will be a glaze firing after the final class. Students will be notified within 7-10 days, after their final class, when their finished work is ready to be picked up. All work must be picked up within 30 days from notification that the items are ready.

Any class closure due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.

**All classes are dependent upon the minimum number of students.
